This is the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Also known as the Confederate Cemetery as 6 Confederates were buried in the cemetery after a battle on July 13, 1864. The church moved into Camden Point and a newer community cemetery opened across the road with the old cemetery being forgotten for many years. Recent interest in the cemetery has had many local groups cleaning and mowing the cemetery since the mid-1980s. The Platte County Historical Society has been instrumental in spearheading this cleanup as well as the Camden Point Baptist Church.
